This banana bread is out of this world AMAZING! When my Granny passed away I inherited her recipe box. Oh what a joy! This lady could cook like you would not believe. Real homemade, everything from scratch, fill your belly up with deliciousness. As soon as I smell this banana bread baking I am instantly feeling age 10 again, hanging out with my Granny while she simultaneously is baking something awesome and sewing up something fantastic. She was a one of kind!
My kids LOVE this and if I let them they can polish off a loaf in no time! It is super easy to make and is a great after school snack. If you are anything like me you buy bananas, and then a week later they are slowly becoming a science project on your counter. Some weeks if I am short on time and baking is not an option they go in the freezer for smoothies. But honestly if you have an extra 10 minutes whip this up, its worth it!
